Mrs. Jo Kennedy, 93, a resident of Greensboro died Sunday January 23, 2011. She was born August 16, 1917 in Truscott, TX, a daughter of Harry and Effie Moody McCutchon. Jo was raised on a ranch in Pecos, NM. She loved to crochet and enjoyed traveling.
She was married to Lee Edward Kennedy who preceded her in death on February 11, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Juanita House and a niece, Jean .
Surviving are two sons, Harry Lee Kennedy and wife Nina of Dupo, IL, Rex Kennedy of the home; a grandson, Marc Kennedy of Germany and a niece, Jo Hillyer of Santa Fe, NM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 28th, 2:00 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by the Reverend Dr. Don Clement. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends
