
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at Saturday, 4-6 PM at 16 Old Saybrook Dr.
Mr. Glenn was born in Charlotte, NC to GeorgeAnna Glenn and the late James Allen Glenn, III. He graduated from Boyden High School and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from Campbell College. After school, he spent a few years in Wealth Management in Atlanta before moving back to North Carolina where he met his loving wife, Katherine Howard of Greensboro. Mr. Glenn then had a successful career in furniture sales for Woodard Furniture and Howard Miller Clock, Co., before owning a business, Salem Graphics.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine of Greensboro; daughter, Mary Everette Cann and her husband James of Charlotte, granddaughter Olivia Cann; sons, James Allen Glenn, IV and his wife, Christine of Atlanta, Paul Howard Glenn; his mother, GeorgeAnna Glenn; sister, Mary Elizabeth Furman and her husband Nelson of Charlotte; and brother in-law David Howard and his wife Martha of Greensboro; and a niece and two nephews.
