A native of Lee County, she was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Loretta Cummings and her brother, Marvin E. Cummings.
She loved her family dearly, especially her son and grandchildren. Gloria loved to decorate for every holiday and occasion. She was a kid at heart. She loved animals, but none more than her fur babies, Molly Le Lu.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Kelly Perdue, son Ricky (Buster) Heath Jr. and wife Shannan; sister, Pat Bray and husband Dan; brother Michael Cummings; four grandchildren, Kobie, Kameron, Carter and Kennedy and a special friend Chichi Hodges.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
