Hans Jacob Gruber

A celebration of his life will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.

Hans was born April 8, 1995 in Allentown, PA, the son of Seth and Emily Gruber.

Hans was a graduate of Northern Guilford High School. He enjoyed nature, hiking and martial arts. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, his humble nature and his calming presence. At 6’2”, Hans was a gentle giant. He enjoyed others around him and was often the peacemaker for all. He will be missed.

Hans was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Anthony Capaldo and his paternal grandfather, Henry Gruber.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Hannah Gruber of Summerfield and his brother, Jedediah “Jed” Gruber of Greensboro; maternal grandmother Anne Capaldo of Allentown, PA and his paternal grandmother Marsha Morath of Beverly Hills, FL; maternal uncle, Chris Capaldo: nephews, Kyler and Keenan Gruber.
