GREENSBORO: Harley “JR” Mayberry, 70, died Monday morning, May 30, 2011 at Golden Living Center Starmount. He resided in Butner, NC for many years and the last two years in Greensboro.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Harley was born on December 30, 1940 to the late Harley Lee and Lula Huffman Mayberry, Sr. "JR" bought laughter and love to all who knew him. He was born to be a very special person to many people. Now you lay in God's arms. You'll always be with me. Love always and forever, brother.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Mayberry. He was the beloved brother, to sister, Rebecca Lowry of Greensboro and brother, Jimmy Mayberry of Salisbury, nephews Todd and Mark Vuncannon of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 3, 2011 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mental Health Association in Greensboro, 330 S. Greene St. Suite B12 Greensboro, NC 27401.
