Helen Wojciechowski

A Mass of Christian Burial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm, at Saint Pius The Tenth Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Wojciechowski was born in Long Island, NY to the late Stanley and Helen Sczepanski on August 17, 1923. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Helen was a very spiritual person, who was a true believer. She was a long time member of Saint Pius The Tenth Catholic Church where she was a very active and faithful parishioner, until her health began to fail. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Stanley Wojciechowski; sister, Victoria Breznak; and brother, Edward Sczepanski.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Beth Poindexter of Greensboro; son, Mark Wojciechowski and his wife Maureen of Farmingville, Long Island, NY; and her three grandchildren, Matthew Wojciechowski, Duncan James Wojciechowski, and Claibourne Worth Poindexter III.

The family will visit with friends on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hospice and Palliative Care at Greensboro and to seven exceptional caregivers; Lynette, Fredricka, Clarissa, ReGina, Jamila, Beverly, and Deborah.
