Hossein Kordbacheh

Our loving father and cherished friend, Hossein Kordbacheh, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2023, at the age of 94. He was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1928 to Ali and Batoul Kordbacheh. In addition to his parents, Hossein was preceded in death by his wife, Nazi, and three of his siblings; Monireh, Houshang, and Hassan Kordbacheh.

He was the beloved husband of Nazi for 47 years. Together, they were blessed with three children, whom he is survived by. He was the loving father of Shahrokh and daughter-in-law, Judy, Ladan and son-in-law, Kamran, and Sasan and daughter-in-law, Parnaz, the cherished grandfather of Sara (Bradley), Amir, Seama, and Salar, as well as the adored great-grandfather of Ava and Noah. He is also survived by his brother, Naser; sister, Giti; and many other loving relatives and friends.

He was a gentle soul who always spoke of love and lived by example. His contagious smile and calm demeanor brought light to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Hossein’s family will receive friends at his home on Monday, January 16th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A private graveside will be held at 2 p.m. on the same day at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, North Carolina.
