

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 5 at Guilford Memorial Park on Gate City Boulevard led by Dr. Steve Pressley from First Baptist Church, followed by a memorial service in the chapel of First Baptist Church (1000 W. Friendly Avenue) officiated be Dr. Alan Sherouse from First Baptist, as well. The family will receive visitors in the church atrium at the conclusion of the service.
Isabel is the daughter of the late David W Rollins, Sr., and is survived by her mother Isabel McDonald Rollins of Greensboro. Also surviving is her daughter Mary Katherine Singer (Stu), grandchildren Zoe and Collin; sister, Nancy Rollins Bain of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.; brothers, David Rollins, Jr. of Orlando Florida and John Rollins (Cathy) of Greensboro; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Born on October 2, 1952, Isabel graduated from Grimsley High School, Class of 1970 and Francis Marion College (now University) in Florence, S.C. She was a respiratory therapist at Cone Hospital and continued her work in Tampa, Florida until she returned to her hometown 15 years ago.
Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church, where she was a member, or to the MS Society of Greensboro, 3 Centerview Drive, Suite 101, Greensboro, N.C. 27407. In closing, the family would like to add that even in the face of her illness, Isabel maintained a positive and sustaining spirit. She was so proud of her daughter Mary Katherine and found great joy in the lovely woman she has become.
