James Carfay Kendrick

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens.

Mr. Kendrick was retired from the City of Greensboro. Water and Sewer Department, was a NASCAR fan, loved Richard Petty, horses, baseball and his grandchildren.

Mr. Kendrick was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Holly Kendrick and son, Michael Kendrick. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Odis, Rev. Robert, Bill, Norman and Garland Faucett, sisters, Hallie Medley and Helen Capps.

Mr. Kendrick is survived by his daughter, Reena Apple and husband, Marty, grandchildren, Bo, Morgan and Wyatt Apple, daughter-in-law Dee of Lexington and brother, Julius Kendrick of PA.

The family expresses their sincere gratitude to April, Randy, and Kelly of Liberty Hospice, to Gibsonville Pharmacy, Bobby and Kathy Thornton and faithful friend Doug.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm St and at other times at the residence.
