Jane Faye Slason

Born on April 18, 1936 to Kenneth and Gladys Wells in Lexington, KY, she was eighty-seven years old.

Jane and Aaron lived and raised 3 girls in Sunrise, Florida before retiring in the Eustis/Leesburg area, married for 39 years till Aaron’s passing.

Jane moved to Kernersville, NC near her oldest daughter Donna in 2007.

Jane loved collecting pigs and roosters, gardening, and watching golf with her son-in-law Ray, their Sunday afternoon TV ritual.

Jane was best known for her quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and spirit.

She is survived by her daughters; Donna Smith, Deborah Emberger, and Delores Slason; grandchildren, Melissa Smith, Karen Smith-Cavanagh, Joseph Stellon, Becky Slason, and Jessica League;

great-grandchildren, Isabella, Ryan, Collin, Emma, Peyton, Alyssa, Triston, Kenzie, and Jaxon.

There are no plans for funeral or memorial services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks with gratitude that memorials in Jane's name be made to AuthoraCare HOSPICE of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405 as they took such great care of Mom/Nana and all of us.
