Jean Marie Overbey Farabee

Born on June 27, 1933 in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Dewey and Ruth Mays Overbey. Jean retired from Jefferson Pilot after 40 years of service. She was a long time member of Centenary United Methodist Church and an active member of the United Methodist Women’s Fellowship and Roach Sunday School.

Jean is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Farabee Jr., Jr of Greensboro; her daughter, Michelle Farabee Robinson of High Point; two grandchildren, Holland Marie Robinson and Charles Asher Robinson; and brother, Cecil Ellis Overbey Sr.

A celebration of life service for Jean will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2 pm at Centenary United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 2300 W. Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, North Carolina 27403.
