

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church with Rev. David Surrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Jean was born to Hazel Franklin and Anna Stanley Loman in Guilford County. She graduated from Greensboro Senior High School. She worked at Sears for twenty years. She was a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church where she participated in the Pals Sunday School class and the Friends and Neighbors group. She was also a member of the SMACK organization.
She enjoyed bingo, cross stitching, crocheting, quilting and reading.
She is predeceased by her parents and sisters, Frances L. Dever and Margaret L. Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Herman Osborne; children, Patricia Freeze and husband Larry of Kernersville, Carol Hamley and fiancée James Parks of High Point, and James L. Osborne and wife Loan of Princeton Junction, NJ; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Robl, Regina Page, Angela Jarosz, Brent Page, Noah Freeze, Luke Freeze, Anna Osborne and Kimberly Osborne; and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 3235 Yanceyville Street Greensboro, NC 27405 in honor of Jean Loman Osborne.
