Jeanette Barbee Edwards, 77, a resident of Jamestown passed away on Thursday December 30, 2015 at the Hospice Home of High Point. Jeanette was born April 16, 1938 in Guilford County the daughter of Paul and Mildred Holt Barbee.
She was a member of Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church.
Jeanette was married to James Leon Edwards who preceded her in death on December 10, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lawrence Barbee.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Randall “Randy” Edwards and wife Carolyn of Greensboro, Kenneth “Ken” Wayne Edwards and wife Charlotte of Jamestown; grandchildren, Nikki, Kasi, Kristan, Michael and Jonathan Edwards, Corey Hasse , Jonnie Perdue and great-grandchildren, Cooper Davison Hasse and Addyson Raelyn Hasse.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 at Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Reverend Vance Lowe and Reverend Dan Money. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
