

Jewel Cameron Hubbard, 102, a resident of High Point passed away on Saturday March 13, 2021 at the Hospice Home at High Point. She was born January 12, 1919 in Clarksville, Texas, the daughter of Edward and Mattie Walker.
Jewel was married to James Cameron who preceded her in death. She later married James W. Hubbard who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ruby Stonebreaker.
Jewel was saved in the spring of 1950 at Friendly Baptist Church in High Point she was an active member until her health began to fail. She was the oldest living member of the church.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Bryant and husband James of Randleman, Janie Mahaffey and husband Steve of Hamptonville; her son, Allen Cameron and wife Lynn of Randleman; grandchildren, Lori Bryant, Rick Moser, Brad Moser, Curtis Cameron; seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Pastor Tony Sluss. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
