Born on September 16,1934, in Harlan, KY, lived with his family until entering the Air Force, honorably discharged, then went into trucking until retirement in 1995.
He was a loving son, husband, dad and friend to all he met. He always a smile and a good word for everyone.
Preceded in death by his father William “Verl” Anderson, mother Ethel Cottrell Anderson, brother Kenneth, aunts Edith and Bernette Cottrell.
Survived by wife Linda Landreth Anderson, son Donald Olen Miller, brother Danny Anderson, sister Sondra Allred, extended family Todd Shelton and Wendy Cotter.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice Home, 1803 Westchester Dr High Point, NC 27262 for the amazing and loving care they gave Jimmy in his final days.
Celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held later this summer.
