Joe Wolfe

A graveside service will be held on Saturday December 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the home, 1537 NC Hwy 61 South, Whitsett, NC 27377. Family visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.

Joe was born in Scott City, KS to the late George William Wolfe and Evelyn Younger Wolfe. He was the owner-operator of Residential Concrete and Star Redi-Mix. He was a pilot and he loved aviation and riding horses.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three nephews. Joe leaves behind his children, Tracy McKinney and husband Greg of Reidsville, Tommy Wolfe and wife Lori of Greensboro, and Sharon Chatmon and husband Al of Whitsett, NC; four grandchildren Joseph Wolfe, Jason McKinney, Dillon Wolfe, and Destiny Dinges; siblings, Jerry Wolfe and wife Andrea of Mulberry, FL, Tommy Wolfe of Jefferson City, MO, Sandy Morgan of Greensboro, NC, Donita Stubinger and husband Glen of Russellville, MO, Roxie Bailey of Holts Summit, MO, Frank Wolfe and wife Karen of Fulton, MO, Mike Wolfe and wife Annie of Russellville, MO, and Becky Wolken and husband Mark of Jefferson City, MO.; twenty-seven nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Town of Love Valley, sent to 1501 Verdun Drive Greensboro, NC 27409 in memory of Joe’s love of cowboys.
