

Mr. Faircloth was a honored Vietnam Veteran and served his country for 22.5 years in the Navy, where he acquired the rank of E8 senior chief fire control technician. After Mr. Faircloth’s Naval retirement he began a second career working at the US Postal service as a mail carrier for 20 years.
Mr. Faircloth is survived by his wife, Brenda W. Faircloth; children, Tammy T. Wysor (William “Geoff”), Johnnie W. Faircloth, Jr. (Olivia), Tonya T. Shoffner (Charles “Edwin”), Brock Thomas, Dawn R. Faircloth (Marc Jenkins); grandchildren, Tristan Thomas, Amber Wysor, Devon Wagoner, Marvin Willert, Catherine Shoffner, Anna Shoffner, Lilly Shoffner, and great grandchildren, Summer Thomas, and Eliza Wilson.
Mr. Faircloth’s family is grateful to Hospice of Greensboro and Beacon Place for their care and support.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 15 at Westminster Gardens Colonial Mausoleum followed by interment with Military Honors in the cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro.
