Mrs. Judith Deaton Smith

Judith enjoyed cooking, reading romance novels and going to the beach. She was of the Methodist faith and looked forward to going to church with family members. Her greatest joys were her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judith is survived by her children, Debby Conner (Randy), Ronald C. “Butch” Smith, Jr., James Edward Smith (Sheri) and Rebecca Smith McCarthy (Nathan); four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Charles Deaton; and numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N Elm Street, Greensboro.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O’Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC.
