

His Celebration of Life will be held 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
Mr. Bulla was a member of the National Guard Reserves for 5 years. He was a long-time member of Moriah United Methodist Church. He was employed 42 years with BellSouth as a cable repairman. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an artist and an avid lover of animals and nature. He had many friends. He will forever be remembered for his humor, his laughter and his contagious smile!
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Jean Bulla, his daughters, Julia Carter and husband, Martin, Linda Oxendine and husband, Levon and Betsy Bulla. His step-daughter, Bobbie Wellons and husband, John. His "adopted daughter", Carol Vincent. His sister, Nancy Dever and her husband, Robert and son,Jim. His grandchildren, Brandon Clendenin and wife, Audrey, Amanda May and Bruce, Jessica Bailey, John H. Wellons and wife, Jessica and Leanne Wellons. His great-grandchildren, Callie and Reagan Clendenin, TJ and Dylan Bailey, Braydon White, Harrison and Landen Wellons.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, Barbara Bulla, his parents, John Sr. and Grace Bulla and his brother, John Bulla, Jr.
His family wishes to thank neighbors, Alamance Fire Dept, Guilford County EMS, Moses Cone Emergency Room and the staff of Critical Care ICU for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
