Keith Eugene Joyce, 70, a resident of Julian passed away on Thursday March 28, 2024 at AuthoraCare Hospice of Burlington. He was born October 13, 1953 in Forsyth County the son of the late William Pitts and Margaret Marshall Joyce.
Keith was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. He worked for 42 years with the P. Lorillard Tobacco Co. in Greensboro. He was a NASCAR fan, but his true love was fishing anywhere and anyway.
He is survived by his wife Lee Joyce of the home; one sister, Pam Joyce Davis and husband Heath of Winston-Salem and two brothers, Harry Lee Joyce of High Point, Tim Joyce and wife Nancy of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Diane Hill of Liberty; brother-in-law, Tim Hardy and wife Donna of Brown Summit; god-children, Mickaela and Hannah; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday March 30, 2024 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Hardy, Seth Hill, Tyler Courtney, Mick Pace, Ken Welker and Heath Davis.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Keith’s memory to the Hamil Kerr Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s, P.O. Box 1963 Jamestown, NC 27282.
