Larry Wayne Johnson

A Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 22, 2014 at First Lutheran Church, 3600 W. Friendly Avenue.

A native of Guilford County, Larry was a member of First Lutheran Church where he was a member of the Chancel Choir for many years and employed with Industrial Air. His hobbies included fishing, wood working, “piddling” and making fishing rods, bird houses and cork trivets for others. He also loved playing with his grandchildren by just being “Pops”.

Preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Moser Johnson, he is survived by his wife Donalyn Perryman Johnson, sons Chad Johnson and his wife Jaclyn, Drew Johnson and his wife Molly, siblings Sheila J. Brackett, Paul F. Johnson and Robert E. Johnson, 3 grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jake and Claire, and a countless number of family and friends.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
