GREENSBORO: Lawrence E. Williams, Jr., 54, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at his home.

A memorial service will be held today April 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Kevin Hicks.

Lawrence E. Williams was born July 2, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Lawrence was a US Army Veteran. Larry loved fishing, collecting, and building model cars.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Besterci Williams of the home; his mother Anna Mae Williams of Greensboro, son Shawn Williams and wife Tracey of Greensboro, daughter Heather Wall and husband Michael of Greensboro, son Scott Williams and wife Casey of Cape Coral, FL, brother Glenn Williams and wife Juli of Greenville, SC, sister Larraine Belli of Greensboro, brother, Gary Williams and wife Sarah of Everett Washington, sister Melanie Comito and husband Kenneth of Greensboro and sister Melissa Crews and husband Jason of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Eric and Adam Wall, Alison, Hailey and Nathaniel Williams, aunt Mary Lou Strathen, several nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to VFW Post 2087, 2605 South Elm Eugene St. Greensboro, NC 27406.
