Leta L. Rayle

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Bessemer United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Alamance Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Rayle, a native of Greensboro, was the daughter of Coley Loman and Lillie Johnson Loman. She was a member of Bessemer United Methodist Church, the Young Adult Lady’s Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Rayle was a long time employee of Economy Food Store. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Martin Luther Rayle, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mrs. Rayle is survived by her daughters, Barbara Rayle Carter and husband, Jim, Theresa Rayle Wagoner and husband, David all of Greensboro, son, Doug Rayle and wife, Susan of Graham, sister, Patsy Weeks of McLeansville, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bessemer United Methodist Church, 3015 E. Bessemer Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.
