Lynn was retired from UPS where he was a tractor trailer driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. Lynn enjoyed being on the coast at Carolina Beach where he loved to fish. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susan Hardy Crawley.
Surviving are his wife, Judy R. Hardy of the home; two sons, Jim Hardy and his wife Nancy of Oak Island, Greg Hardy and his wife Anita of Stokesdale; his grandson, Nolan Hardy and his wife Mary Katherine of Wilmington; his half-brother, Steve Hardy and his wife Maggie of AZ and his brother-in-law, David Crawley of Georgia.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Guilford Memorial Park. Military Honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
