

Born in Greensboro, Madison graduated from Middle College at G.T.C.C with her associate’s degree. She attended UNC-Pembroke for a period and had most recently worked as a sales associate with The UPS Store. She was making plans to resume her education and complete her degree.
She is survived by her loving parents, Carla Anne Blackstock and Brian Cantwell of High Point; her sister, Paris Johnson of High Point; her two nieces, Kayleigh and Karleigh Russell; her paternal grandfather, Carl Smith and her maternal grandparents, Mike and Virginia Cantwell. Her Uncle Paul Cantwell and her Aunts Gwendy Harris, Pamela Blackstock and Stephanie Blackstock. She is also survived by her biological father Clarence Moore and family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal Grandmother Betty Smith.
She is reunited in heaven with her long-time pet and confidant Shasta.
Madison battled Epilepsy from the time she was an early teenager. She never let that hold her back from back from experiencing life. She lived with a positive attitude that was contagious to all around and had the sweetest soul that you could imagine.
Madison had many passions including cheerleading, dancing, theater and arts, fashion, travel, music, dining out and family and friends. She loved to drive and never took it for granted. She would often just go for a drive by herself.
Madison made many memories visiting many places including Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Myrtle Beach, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Cincinnati. She loved spending time and having adventures with her best friends. Katonna Tate who had known her since 1st grade and Darrell Wright. Later in life she met Kyra Royster they didn’t know each for as long but shared an incredible bond.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday February 22, 2025, at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Private family interment services will be held at Guilford Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations made in Madison’s name to the Epilepsy Foundation.
