Marcella Powell Bryant, 94, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at her residence at Whitestone. Mrs. Bryant was born on March 26, 1930, in Saint Clair, PA to the late James F. and Marcella Carlin Powell.
With her husband, she relocated from Woodbridge, VA to Greensboro, NC in 1977. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan W. Bryant and her sister, Mary Sullivan. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 31 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m., at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 607 North Greene Street, officiated by Rev. Sarah Carver. Family and friends will gather for a reception in the Haywood Duke Room following the service.
