Marcia W. Jones

Marcia Wiebe Jones, 91, died Friday, April 15, 2022, at Well Spring Retirement Community. She was born December 28, 1930, in Sacramento, CA, daughter of the late Gustav A. and Linda Banman Wiebe. In 1953, she received a degree in education from the University of Maryland. Marcia was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Greensboro.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, the Reverend Roland M. Jones, Sr.; son-in-law, Dr. Mark C. Brigham and her sister, Mildred W. Carroll. She is survived by her children, Katherine J. Brigham, Dr. Roland M. Jones, Jr. and wife, Fran S. Jones, Susan J. Mangiapane and husband, Chip Mangiapane; grandchildren, Joshua S. Brigham, Kimberly A. LaFosse, Roland M. Jones, III, Alexa M. Mangiapane and great grandchild, Blake Elizabeth LaFosse.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday August, 20 at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 3506 Lawndale Drive. The family will visit with friends following the service at the church.
