Marion H. Herbin Hinsdale

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 3:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Partington officiating. The family will greet friends at 2:00 pm in the Blair Hagan room behind Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Hinsdale was born on October 2, 1923 in Clover, SC to the late Felix Marion and Louise Fruhthaler Herbin. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Hinsdale; brothers, Bennett Rankin Herbin and G. Raymond Herbin. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Hinsdale of Greensboro, Marjorie Hinsdale-Shouse and son-in-law Marshall J. Shouse of Chapel Hill, NC; and grandchildren, Marshall J. Shouse, Jr. and wife Elizabeth Freeman Shouse of Cary, Michael J. Shouse and wife Kristina Shouse of Knightdale, NC; three great grandchildren, Emma Kate Shouse, Marshall Jay Shouse, III, and Madison Grace Shouse; sisters-in-law Barbara Herbin and Vivian Herbin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Charles House Eldercare Center, 109 Hillcrest Avenue, Carrboro, NC 27510; or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Fl 17 Chicago, IL 60601-7633, in her memory.
