Marjorie was born on September 3, 1931 in Guilford County, the daughter of Lloyd T. and Mabel Spencer Collins. She worked as a Nurses Aid and was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Marjorie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and two sisters, Alma Mae Cook and Lois Catherine McGee. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Hill and wife Sandra of Prattville, AL; daughter, Julie A. Key and husband Jim of Dallas, NC; sister, Mary Ruth Truglio of Parsippany, NJ; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Pastor Roger Motsinger officiating .Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Hospice of Greensboro and Beacon Place for the care given to Marjorie.
