Myra married David Stang in 1946 and had their first child (Michael) in 1949 in the Bronx.
In 1951, Myra and David moved to Greensboro with their extended family to start Lane Rexall Drug. In the ensuing 7 years, they had 3 more children - Howard, Fred, Paul. Mrs. Maggie Lash helped raise the children and remains an important member of the Stang family. Myra worked in the drug store in a variety of roles, was actively involved in Beth David Synagogue, and was a volunteer for the local public schools and hospitals.
