Newley Dean "Clay" Livingston

Newley was born June 29, 1970 in High Point, N.C. to Cathy Livingston of High Point and the late Robert “Tommy” Livingston. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and nephew and a great friend to many. Newley was a self-employed flooring contractor and an avid hunter and fisherman and longtime member of the Triad Sportsman's Hunt Club.

Newley is preceded in death by his father, Robert “Tommy” Livingston, grandparents, Wade and Bertha McPherson and Luther and Louise Livingston.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karla Trammel Livingston of the home; his son, Derick and his wife, Alisia, of Denton; step-sons, Trevor Pleasant and Scotty Jordan, both of the home; sister, Angela and her husband Anthony Billings of High Point; brother, Ricky and his wife Lisa Livingston of Lexington; step-grandsons, Gabriel and Bryson Burgess; and mother-in-law, Ruby Trammel of Hurdle Mills; special uncle and aunt, Jetty and Linda Tuttle of Archdale.

The family extends special thanks to the Triad Sportsman's Hunt Club for their support and friendship.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by the Reverend Bill Barnes. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

The family will be at the home before the service and after the service at Jetty Tuttle Body and Tackle in Archdale.
