

Mrs. Paula Fuqua-Van Wagner, 48, a resident of Jamestown died Monday March 29, 2011 in the Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Paula was born October 24, 1962 in Greensboro the daughter of Jerry H. and Juanita Brammer Fuqua. She was a member of the graduating Class of 1981 at Ragsdale High School and attended GTCC and Guilford College. Paula was a pharmaceutical technician and had worked at High Point Regional Hospital, Wake Forest University Medical Center, Revco Drug and Medi Save. She was a member of Deep River Church of Christ.
Paula was preceded in death by her son, William Paul Van Wagner; her mother, Juanita Brammer Fuqua; her maternal grandparents, Paul S. and Mary L. Brammer and her paternal grandparents, Fred E. and Edna W. Fuqua.
On April 22, 1995 she was married to Luke E. Van Wagner who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Laura-Kathryn Fuqua of Jamestown, Caroline H. Van Wagner of the home and her father, Jerry H. Fuqua of Greensboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Deep River Church of Christ, 1934 Eastchester Dr., High Point, NC 27265 conducted by Evangelist Dave Galloway and Joel Langley. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407 on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Paula’s name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 312 N. Eugene St., Suite D, Greensboro, NC 27401 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 419 S. Hawthorne Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103
