Mrs. Peggy Claire Rosser McCormick

A memorial service will be held in her honor, at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, at 515 N. Elm St., in Greensboro. The family will receive friends following the service, at a reception being held there at the funeral home.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 56 years, Monroe McCormick; two sons, Michael McCormick of Lakeworth, Florida and John McCormick of Ocoee, Tennessee; brother, William Rosser; sister, Bettie Rosser Mohler; four grandchildren, Jim Hawhee and wife Emily, Alexis Hawhee, Alex McCormick, and Chris McCormick; one great-granddaughter, Claire Hawhee. She held a special place in her heart for her son-in-law, Cliff Hawhee and wife Lynn, also her nieces Sally Jones and Susan Chasse’. She was a fun loving person who was greatly loved by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny McCormick Hawhee; a sister, Evelyn Rosser Sims; and a brother, Walter Rosser.
