Peggy Jean Palladino

She was born on August 25, 1941, in Guilford County to the late Jesse and Bertha Whitesell Anderson. Peggy was also preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Vernon, Maxine Fogleman, and Louise Burchett, and her brothers, Frank, Hobert, and Andy Anderson and her faithful poodle Romeo.

The greatest joys of Peggy’s life were her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Keith Moore and his wife Vicki; her daughter, Allison Sullivan and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Heather Urbanowski (John), Ryan Moore (Jordan Zooy), Madison Massey (RJ Witschger), Cameron Massey (Cammie Cooke), and Kaitlin Byrd (Dylan); and great-grandchildren, AJ and Allie Urbanowski.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with Pastor Jim Farmer officiating at Towe Memorial Baptist Church, 803 NC Hwy 61, Whitsett, NC 27377. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 pm, before the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peggy’s memory may be made to the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.

The family appreciates the support and condolences of friends and loved ones during this time. A special thanks is extended to her sister, Rose Doby, and her caregiver Carolyn Mayton, who have been instrumental in her care over the past several years.
