

Greensboro - Ralph B. Hobbs, Jr., 62, passed away on May 2, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem.
A Memorial service will be held at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel, on Sunday, May 5th, 2013 at 6:00 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 5:00 pm.
Ralph B. Hobbs, Jr. was born April 13, 1951 to the late Ralph B. Hobbs, Sr. and Wanda Fee Hobbs in Mendota, VA. He started working for K&W Cafeterias at the age of 15 as a coffee boy and, over the years, advanced to the position of senior district manager. In 2003, Ralph founded C&H Cafeteria and, in 2011, founded H&F Cafeteria.
Ralph loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, water skiing, golf, and having good cookouts at the family lake house. He also loved to travel and explore new places. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Corby. He is survived by his wife Wanda Hobbs; sons, Garrett Hobbs and wife Regan of Raleigh, NC and James Panter and wife Jennifer of Greensboro; grandchildren Graham Hobbs, Nathan Hobbs, and Sierra Panter; and mother, Juanita Hobbs; brothers Larry Hobbs and Randy Hobbs of Greensboro, and David Hobbs and wife Helen of Garner.
