Randall "Randy" Wayne Cockerham

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Concord Friends Meeting, with Pastor Greg Creed officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born November 5, 1973, Randy was a member of Concord Friends Meeting. He graduated from Southeast Senior High School and was employed by Atlantic Coast Forklift Toyota Company. Randy had a heart as big as the great outdoors. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved life and enjoyed every moment of it, especially when he was spending those moments with friends and family. Randy loved being close to the water and enjoyed living at High Rock Lake where he loved to boat and ski. He was blessed with the talent of singing and freely shared that talent whenever asked. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Fred and Patsy Cockerham of Greensboro; brother, Keith Cockerham and his wife Stacy of Houston, Texas; grandmother, Mary Cockerham of Greensboro; aunts and uncles, Courtney and Juanita Forsyth, Leon and Linda Armstrong, Robert and Vicky Cockerham, Debbie Cockerham, and Don and Teresa Stutts; along with a host of cousins, friends, and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday evening at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
