A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel in Greensboro.
Born in Fort Eustis, VA, to the late Randolph Sr. and Mildred Carter, Randy was of the Presbyterian Christian faith. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for CSX, formerly called Chessie Systems Railroad, for 14 years. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and reading, but most of all he loved The Lord.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Anne R. Carter of Greensboro; and his sister, Judith Ann Carter.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 pm, Saturday afternoon at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
