

Raydean Alicen Draper, 83, a resident of Jamestown passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born February 26, 1938 in Orlando, Oklahoma, the son of the late Ray Orville and Pearl Alice Long Draper.
Raydean is survived by his wife, Carolyn Creecy Draper of the home; two sons, David Draper and wife Rhonda of Greensboro, Michael Draper and wife Carol of Burke, VA; two sisters, June Draper Davenport of Blanchard, OK, Jean Draper LeForce of Perry, OK; one brother, Don Draper and wife Susanne of Batavia, IL; seven grandchildren, Thomas and wife Patricia, Daniel and wife Lisa, Paul and wife Nicole, David, Shaina and husband David, Ricki, and Zach; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Raydean served a career in the U.S. Air Force and he and his wife and sons traveled overseas and across the United States. Following his retirement from active duty he went back to school, graduating from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Sciences, and then embarked on a second career supporting the U.S. Air Force’s training mission. Raydean and Carolyn enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with family. Together they devoted many summers to youth church camps and missions. After moving to Jamestown he and Carolyn became members of Adams Farm Community Church.
A service to celebrate Raydean’s life will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Adams Farm Community Church conducted by Pastor Brian Howard.
There will be a private family service held when Raydean’s ashes will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
