Rebecca was born November 16, 1958, in Gastonia, the eldest daughter of the late James King and Anne White Williams.
Rebecca graduated from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, and was
employed with Pinnacle Financial Partners. Rebecca enjoyed her cats and
spending time with her daughter. She loved shopping and will be
remembered for her sarcastic sense of humor. Her favorite place to be was Carolina Beach.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, SarahWen Williams
of Greensboro; brothers, Scott Williams of Shipman, VA and Brian Williams of
Stokesdale; aunt, Suzanne Williams of Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her best friend of over 25 years, Janice Durham.
The family asks with gratitude that memorials in Rebecca’s name be made to
the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington,
