Robert "Bobby" Knight Mitchell

Bobby was a graduate of Jamestown High School and retired from Vicks Chemical now Proctor & Gamble for 40 years. He was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his dogs. Bobby enjoyed lunches with his co-workers from Vicks and later having lunches with his brother Johnny at various restaurants.

He is survived by his brother, Johnny Mitchell of Randleman; his twin sister, Barbara Overstreet of Greensboro, his sister, Reva Jones (Skip) of Archdale; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and his canine companion, Kasey.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m.. Thursday at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Dr. David Greene.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Bobby’s memory to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262 or to the Humane Society, 4527 W. Wendover Ave. Greensboro, NC 27407
