On October 4th, Todd passed away at his residence from a heart attack. He was 64 years of age. He was surrounded by his girlfriend Sherry Larkins and her son Richard at the time of his death. Her daughter Ashley Shaw was not present at the time of passing.
Todd was born on January 17th, 1951 in High Point, NC to Paul Dunbar Clement Jr. and Patricia Todd Clement. He was their second child and first son. He was nothing short of being a rambunctious and energetic boy, which he happily allowed to spill over into his adulthood. He graduated from Ragsdale High School and worked as a self-employed furniture salesman. He desired to be the life of any event he was at, and always successfully achieved that. He knew no strangers, and created many friendships due to his amazing ability to be whatever anyone he met needed him to be. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending as many events as he could. He also enjoyed fishing, golf, photography and just about any activity that led him outdoors. He was truly one of a kind in so many great ways. He was the life of the party.
Todd was preceded in death by his sister Catherine Grace Clement, his sister Paula Clement Cobb, and his father Paul Dunbar Clement Jr and mother Patricia Todd Clement and nephew Justin Snyder.
He is survived by his brother Tivy Clement; his sister, Martha Clement; his brother Christopher Dunbar Clement and his wife Jere and their daughter Lauren; his brother, Joseph Brian Clement and his wife Mary and a niece Jessica Lynch; his son Robert Todd Clement Jr and wife Stacy and grandson Tyler; his son Craig Allen Clement and grandson Stephen, and another son, Christopher Brian Clement and wife Sandra and grandson Noah as well as two great granddaughters.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Todd’s life will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until service time and also following the service.
