Roland Morgan, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Rev. Lonnie Carter officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

He was born in Guilford County, the son of the late Roland Morgan, Sr. and Anna Smith Morgan. He worked at Cone Mill White Oak Plant as a fixer for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Della Perdue Morgan. Roland is survived by his children, Debbie & Ricky (husband) Swaney, Bonnie Hudson, Penny Morgan, Virginia Morgan, Christine and James (husband) Kennedy, Roland Morgan, and Ruby Morgan; sisters, Cathy, Carol, Sylvia and brother Donnie.

Grandkids, Jennifer, Amanda, Crystal, Tony, Joshua, James, Nick, Sierra, Heather, Brandon, Jessica, Glori, and Rosenda; great grandkids, Chat, Emma and Austin.

The family would express their sincere thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for their care and service to Mr. Morgan.

We thank GOD that you stayed with us for 6 years after losing Mom but we know you couldn’t put up with us anymore. You left your seven angels to be with your #1 Angel.
