

Ronald was born May 3, 1936 in Guilford County to John Floyd Carrico and Millie Inez Carrico. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Lee Carrico. Ronald lived in Greensboro from birth and then moved to Reidsville, NC. Due to health concerns he later moved to Randleman, NC to be cared for by his family and then Hospice. Ronald served in the US Army and traveled the US as well as Germany. Ronald worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technology where he retired after 30 years. He spent most of his life outdoors hunting, trapping and on the lake fulfilling his lifelong love as an avid fisherman. In his later years he spent his days whittling away making his line of fishing plugs, watching his favorite "Duke Blue Devils" basketball games and spending time with his beloved dog Dixie.
Ronald is survived by his son Steve Carrico (Becky), his daughter Ronda Carrico Bullock, grandchildren Tara Cullop, Stacie Carrico MacKenzie, Doug Petty, Mandy Ann Carrico and Steven Carrico. Also his great grandchildren Holland Sayge Cullop, Gracie Ann Cullop, Alex MacKenzie, Carolina MacKenzie, Kamden Petty, Braelen Petty and his nephew Donnie Carrico and cousin Jerry Carrico.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday March 27, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday March 28, 2014 at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
