Scott Everett Miller

Scott Miller, 47, a resident of Greensboro, passed away on August 7, 2021. He was born April 25, 1974, in Hickory, NC, was the son of the late Don Miller and Beverly Miller. Scott graduate Ben L. Smith High and attended North Carolina AT&T studying Art and Design. Scott managed Greensboro Retirement Center until he lost his leg. Scott was an avid North Carolina State fan, an avid Washington Redskins fan, enjoyed the outdoors and NASCAR. Most of all Scott loved people and impacted the lives of everyone he came in contact. Scott is survived by his wife and love of his life, April Welchel; his daughters, Faith and Hope; his sons, Sky and Cameron; his mother, Beverly Miller; his brother, Michael and his wife Shannon and their two daughters Chloe and Gray; and his brother, Donald Miller, Jr.

The family would like to share their appreciation to the friends, family, and neighbors who have continually offered their prayers, love and support.

A Celebration of Life Service for Scott will be held at 6:30 pm on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until service time. Please think of a favorite memory that you may want to share during Scotts Celebration of Life Service.
