Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Rd. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Mrs. Walton was of the Christian faith. She attended Dream Methodist Korean Church, enjoyed traveling, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Thomas Walton, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mun-Sik Chun and his wife Gyeong-Ja; sisters, Jum-Yae Park and her husband Moo-Woong and Ok-Soon Lee; grandson, Seik Chun; and great-granddaughter, Kimberly Chun.
The family will receive friends at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, 1900 Vanstory St., Friday evening, from 6 until 10 pm.
