

Funeral services for Steven will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception hall. Steven will be laid to rest next to his son, David, in Great Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Malvern, Pennsylvania at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
He is survived by his twin brother, James Dzurik, of Cleveland, and his cherished family. He was preceded in death by his second-born son, David Peter Dzurik.
Steve was a devoted husband to Carmen Linda Dzurik, who he was married to for 59 wonderful years as of January 1, 2025. Together, they built an All-Star family. They have four loving children, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Their eldest child, Stephanie Andrea, is married to Brent Struense. They have two wonderful children, their daughter Dakota and son Isaac.
Steven Andrew Dzurik II is married to Kristin Dzurik, and they are the proud parents of three children: Steven Andrew III (who is married to Emily), Karissa (who is married to Bubby Terp), and Megan. Andrew and Emily’s daughter, Luca Jane Dzurik, is their adored great-granddaughter.
Matthew James Dzurik is married to Olivia Dzurik, and they have two beautiful daughters, Madeline and Marabelle.
Steve’s educational journey took him to The Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Later, he obtained a Master of Divinity Degree from Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO. During their time at Charis, Steve and Carmen had the privilege of counseling others through the phone ministry and traveling on mission trips to Mexico and Columbia. After graduation, they went on to serve as Directors of Charis’ Greensboro campus for several years touching many lives.
Outside of his work and ministry, Steve had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed golfing with family and friends and treasured his time spent at the beach. As a skilled craftsman and
woodworker, he placed many of his handcrafted pieces in their home, creating a warm and welcoming space for everyone who visited.
Steve will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to his family, and his ability to make everyone feel at home.
