Thomas James Ferguson

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, in High Point, on Friday, May 24, 2024. The family will receive friends and family members prior to the service if the Gathering Space at the church from 10:00 AM until service time.

Born in Alpena, Michigan on October 16, 1933 to the late Francis James Ferguson and Evangeline Marceau Ferguson, Thomas was of the Catholic faith and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Creighton University and was Owner and Operator of The Chair Company in Liberty, North Carolina. Thomas served in the United States Navy, was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed playing golf with his buddies. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathleen Ferguson; a son, Tim Ferguson; and a grandson, Michael Ferguson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Patrick Ferguson and his wife Denee; grandchildren, Anna Ferguson Womack and her husband, Andrew, Nicholas Ferguson and Colleen Ferguson.
