Thomas A. (Fitz) Fitzgibbon of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Massapequa, NY died on October 6, 2022. He is the beloved husband of Roberta for 50 years; brother to David Fitzgibbon, Peggy Meland and husband Gene, Vincent and wife, Nance, Joann Clerkin and husband, Bob, Michael Fitzgibbon, Marylisa Diorio and husband, Steve and brother-in-law to Paul Otter.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, David and Marie Fitzgibbon and his sister, Kathleen Otter. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommy was proud to serve his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War.
The family will be holding private services to celebrate Tommy’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warrior Project.
