

Thomas P. “Tom” McGough, 86, of Greensboro, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church
Tom was born July 12, 1926 in Westchester, NY.
Tom was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during WWII. He was a graduate of the City College of New York and was a district sales manager for General Electric for 33 years and also for Imagitron for 17 years. Tom was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 939 where he was a Fourth Degree Knight; Ancient Order of Hibernians; Elks Club and the Marine Corps League.
Tom liked to have a good time, and was a spirited Irishman and faithful lover of his family, his country and his old “cronies”. He was a big fan of the New York Giants and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; children, Maureen Farmer and husband Bob of Oakmont, PA , Terence McGough of Richmond, VA, Kelly McGough of Millis, MA and Erin Whitaker and husband Tom of Tampa, FL ; sister, Joan Beaton of Lake George, NY; grandchildren, Zachary and Molly Farmer and Brendan and Abby McGough.
Friends will be received Sunday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
