Thomas "Tommy" Ray Privette

Tommy was born on December 10, 1939 in Nash County North Carolina, son of the late Davis Floyd Privette and Willie Julia Braswell Privette. Tommy was a member Trinity Worship Center and a member of the senior group of the church. He was employed with the Alamance County School System for 35 years. The majority of his tenure he was at E.M. Holt Elementary School. He loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his sons. In addition to his parents Tommy was preceded in death by his brother Davis Phil Privette.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jenny Allen Privette; daughter, Melissa Privette Blackwell and husband Steve; sons. David Privette and wife Carol, Neil Privette, Terry Privette and wife Robin; sisters, Delores Matthews and Julia Nichols {Eric Johnson): brother, Bruce Skinner and wife Delores; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Trinity Worship Center with Pastor Darrell Cox and Pastor Roger Barefoot officiating. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Worship Center Senior Group, 3157 S. Church Street, Burlington, NC. 27215. Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service, Greensboro, NC is serving the family.
